Kendrick Lamar New Album Untitled Unmastered Is Masterful (REVIEW)

By BridgetEE

Greatness can never be Unmastered but, Untitled is the reflection of the masterful.

Kendrick Lamar shocked the world by dropping an Untitled album out the sky and although its description is Unmastered the project is indeed masterful.  A project that is giving a whole new meaning to cross over because instead of crossing music genres Kendrick has mastered crossing age demographics.  Musicians create music but GREAT musicians induce feels.

There is something on this album, literally, for everyone not tracked individually but actually in each track.  If you love Jazz, R & B, Hip Hop, Latin etc. etc., each track has the feel of all, therefore truly making  it for all.  If your old school you will love cruising to it and if your new school you will bounce to it.  Even if you hate Hip Hop this project will show you that real Hip Hop is in fact an art that unfortunately a lot of spitters have not yet grasped.  Untitled is the definition of what is wrong with todays music while showing you that there is still hope.  Great music doesn’t need high dollar marketing it only needs the hearing of those who don’t need sight.

As for the name of the album?  I don’t know if that might change but here is some food for thought.  Just because something/someone doesn’t have a name, doesn’t mean it/they don’t have a story.

As always please listen responsibly 🎵
